For the second time this month, “The Boss” Rick Ross has been arrested and locked up in Fayetteville, GA. On June 10, Rozay was arrested for marijuana charges. He was released and bailed a few of his new friends out with him. Ross wasn’t so fortunate this time, as the charges he faces are far more serious than the misdemeanor pot bust. The Maybach Music Group head honcho faces charges including aggravated assault, aggravated battery and kidnapping, stemming from an incident in his Fayetteville mansion (the famed 235-acre estate built by boxer Evander Holyfield).
U.S. Marshals stormed the mansion looking for Rick Ross and his bodyguard Nadrian Lateef James, arresting them “without incident.” The victim, a man said to be doing work on the home, alleges that Ross and James pistol-whipped him, chipping his teeth and injuring his jaw. Arrest warrants state, “The victim lost use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as a result of not being able to chew food.”
The kidnapping charge comes from the victim’s claim that Ross and James forced him into a guest room where they forced him to answer questions at gunpoint.
At an initial hearing, Rick Ross and James were denied bond. They will remain jailed in Fayetteville County jail until July 1, the date when the duo are scheduled to appear before a superior court judge. Will “The biggest boss that we’ve see thus far” be forced to sit down for a minute? We’ll find out next month.
