“Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes.”
Its an old joke I first heard used by the late great Richard Pryor, when his wife confronted him in the bed cheating with another woman, and despite being caught dead to right, he still denied and lied.
The joke is funny from a comedian, but a little more difficult to take from the supposed leader of the free world. The press have been manipulated and bullied by this child masquerading as a grown, dignified, powerful, accomplished individual. The press really does need to be taken to task for, at best, their tepid calling out of his BS. He attacks them and they just go on the defensive. Even worse, they cover his lies and inherently “fake claims” while the obviousness of their falsehoods and diversionary tactics seem to be clear to every other rational thinking person. READ MORE
