As technology grows and expands, so does the drug market. Now, instead of breaking down weed buds, rolling them up and smoking them, stoners can get pens with THC liquid to vape the ganja. Many dealers are turning to this method as it is easier to conceal and transport. However, for Ryan Ferrand of New York, this method backfired and he was arrested for carrying weed vapes in bulk while traveling through Morgan County, IN.
According to FOX 59, Ferrand was pulled over by officers with the Morgan County P.A.C.E. team on Interstate 70 for suspicious activity. During the search of the vehicle, officers found an estimated 31,000 THC vape tubes. The haul is said to be worth $1.25 million.
Ferrand was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He is being held in Morgan County Jail.
