Not only is a 13-year-old in trouble for driving a car on the interstate in Colorado, the car he was driving was stuffed with 25 pounds of meth. Even more odd, there were two grown adults in the car with him, just riding. The teen was riding with 22-year-old German Michel-Arreola and 19-year-old Irene Michel-Arreola. All three are from Los Angeles, according to the Atlanta Journal-Consitution.
The group was pulled over by a deputy who is a member of the Western Colorado Drug Task Force. They consented to a search of the vehicle and officers discovered 23 separate packages of “a crystalline substance consistent with methamphetamine.”
All three were charged with felony manufacturing, possession and distribution with intent to sell. The 13-year-old, who is being held at the Grand Mesa Youth Services Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, is also charged with driving without a license and failure to drive in a designated lane. The two adults are being held Mesa County Detention Facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Bonds for both are $75,000.
