Yesterday, fans of Indiana emcee Freddie Gibbs laughed together as he dropped the comical trailer for his next album, Freddie. When he dropped the video, some may have thought it was a joke, but Gangsta Gibbs implied that he’d be dropping something real later on in the night. Lo and behold, Freddie is now available for streaming and purchase.
Following up on last year’s You Only Live 2wice, Gibbs has graced fans with 10 tracks on this new project, featuring cameo appearances by Cassie Jo Craig, Irie Jane Gibbs and the currently embattled 03 Greedo. The bulk of the production was handled by Kenny Beats, with Dupri, Richgang and Tony Seltzer offering assistance on some tracks.
