In hip-hop, sadly, there only seems to be enough room for one or two female emcees in the game at a time. Right now, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj hold the top spots for women rapper, but as time progresses, more and more femcees are being brought to the forefront. Now, Queen Key is ready to make her mark on the game and claim her respective spot. The Chicago rapper has dropped her debut project, Eat My Pussy, for mass consumption (pun).
The mixtape features guest appearances by fellow femcees Dreezy and Tink, as well as drill music pioneer King Louie. As far as the title, Queen Key explained it to The Fader. “A couple months ago I tweeted ‘Eat My Pussy the mixtape, dropping 2018’,” she said. “I honestly don’t know what the hell made me say that! But then I was like, you know what? I should really do that. Because I feel like I’m the perfect candidate.”
