In April 2016, DC emcee Fat Trel was arrested for DWI, narcotics distribution, speeding, and driving on a revoked license. This arrest came two weeks after the MMG signee was busted for possession of counterfeit currency after he allegedly tried to pass off nine fake $50 bills at a Maryland casino. He did his time and was released in September of 2017. Since then, the Slutty Boyz captain has been on his grind, dropping various loose singles, followed up by the release of his last project earlier this year, the aptly titled Finally Free.
Now, Trel is back with a new album, On The Run. The Slutty Boyz captain is joined on the 13-track project by Derez Deshon, Knucklehead, Meatchi, P-Wild, Z-Wayne and I Am Northeast. Most of the production is handled by Yung Lan and JD On The Track, but contributions on the boards were also made by Trauma Tone, Billboard HItmakers and Kilo Keys, among others.
